Center Stage is one of my all-time, favorite movies EVER. If it's on tv, I will watch the whole thing, every time, even though I have it on DVD. You gotta love ballet dancers with attitude.

a long bath as "guilty" - well, I guess it can be, but in my book, it is a sanity saver!

I don't think I've seen even one of the teen movies you've listed - though I keep trying to rent the Emma-like one. Center Stage looks interesting. Must check library. Or get netflix.

I just had my first pedicure. Must blog about it.

10 Things I Hate About You is one of those movies I can sit down and watch again and again, regardless of how many hundreds of times I've probably seen it.

I will admit, I would not have guessed Project Runway.

Was the the celebrity fashion blog GoFugYourself? It is hysterical. And fun. Although, I understand your need to limit blogs.

May I suggest 30 Rock and Arrested Development on DVD? Oh, how I miss Arrested Development...

I have a weakness for teen flicks too. It's like eating popcorn. One of the fun things about living in a women's dorm was the silly movies we all watched together. :-)'Ten Things' is one of my favorites too.

I am so very glad you included Gilmore Girls on your list. You have no idea. :o)

I think my husband loves me a little less everytime I make him watch Center Stage, but everytime he lets me make him, I love him a little more.

I have also found the the celebrity fashion blogs were the first to go when I was paring down my list. Too much to do, not enough time...

Chick-lit! And how upsetting is it that Veronica Mars is off the air?

We have very similar tastes in our guilty pleasures, I must say. I'll have to check out a couple of those books I haven't read that you linked. We all need a bit of an escape from time to time!

Seriously, I think we might be long-lost best friends. I loved Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars (and oh how it pains me to say that in the past tense!). I also LOVE Center Stage and 10 Things I Hate About You. A friend of mine named her dog Charlie off of Center Stage...

By manicures? Please don't be.
They're really not bad.

I'm the biggest frump
Imaginable, and yet
I get manicures!

Also massages,
Though rarely, due to money.
Be at peace, try one.

I have been reading your blog for a while, so I thought I would say hi! I loved watching those teen movies, especially 10 things I hate about you.

Too tired to comment intelligently, so I'm going to try to post at my own blog. Ha!

I love Gilmore Girls and The Office! (Never seen your other shows.) And teen movies! And sweet tea! And long baths! And chick lit!

I highly recommend mustering up the courage for getting to the nearest spa. A good massage is pure bliss (although one that must be budgeted for) and I get pedicures all summer long. Highly, highly recommend spas.

You've gotta love the Meg Cabot books...

Project Runway and Chick Lit, huh? Between this meme and the shoes post we're getting to see a different side of you this month, Arwen.

I'm right there with ya on the grew-up-without-TV-but-am-now-utterly-addicted-to-select-shows thing. My boyfriend and I went on a complete Gilmore Girls binge right before the show ended, and Veronica Mars! Don't get me started.

Nsync, chick lit and teen movies. Gotta have some every once in a while!

I'm stopping by from the NaBloPoMo blogroll :)

I love The Office! I also like the movie Center Stage. My guilty pleasure is eating a Hershey's chocolate bar and dipping it in peanut butter - yum.

Oooh, I love this! I'm so glad you love The Office -- it's my most-looked-forward-to show each week.

My computer was down on Sunday, so I'll have to comment twice today! :-)

I OWN each of those teen movies on DVD - and saw them all in the theatre and I can quote all but Center Stage )though I CAN sing the words to every song on the soundtrack - I own that, too)

Love The Office! We quote lines at work!
