Oh, I missed the question-asking period. Some of your readers have already come up with some good ones (loved the favorite fictional character one). I want to ask one, too! Better late than never, right? Let's see. Well, this is a little bit boring, but I'm curious. What's your Myers-Briggs personality type? (If you've never taken it, here's a decent online version:

Arwen - was it perhaps "Men of Galilee, why are you standing and staring at the sky?" (Sorry, paraphrasing a bit there). That one always makes me giggle, mostly from picturing the Apostles just standing there gaping at the heavens, all wearing that expression that says "Um, did anyone else just see what I think I saw?"

Wow, Elizabeth, you're a swift interviewee! :) Your guilt-free TLC day sounds simply lovely. Must try it one of these soon as I finish the batch of scholarly articles I'm working on (and the bibliographies they rode in on, too).

And I must say you've finally decided me to go read Anne of Green Gables. I will go read it forthwith. This weekend, in fact (provided I finish the batch of...yes, yes, Conscience, now go away).

All hail Procrastination, the tenth muse if ever there was one.

I just sent out my resume for a job that I REALLY REALLY want so pray for me please:)

Wow--I'm an INFJ, too, pretty evenly split on just about everything but the J, which is pretty dominant. Or at least it was the last time I took a Myers-Briggs. Maybe I should take it again.

Hi Arwen-Elizabeth!

I'm a fairly new reader of yours though we've never met. I just wanted to tell you congratulations on your graduation and also for being an INFJ! (I always get INFP when I take that test, though I suspect for a myriad of reasons that I am truly an INFJ at heart...) Well, anyway, I'm not sure how exactly one ought to go about making blog-friends, but would it be alright if I added a link to yours on my site?

Thanks for responding. I wanted my question to strike a chord, and I love how you responded.

So many fun questions! And so many fun answers! (And thank you, Ellen, for the Myers-Briggs quiz.)

Okay, more questions for you, Elizabeth. Have you ever had pets? If so, what's your most amusing or exciting pet-related story?

Yay, another INFJ! Well, ok, technically I waffle back and forth between an INFJ and an ENFJ, depending on my mood when I take the test. Apparently I walk the line between introversion and extroversion. My percentage points are all concentrated on the intuitive and judging aspects.

I had a feeling you'd answer the way you did re: Stephen King. I know a few other people who feel the same as you do. I'm not normally a fan of the horror genre and given what you've said I would not recommend that you read his books, but I have to say this one thing in Stephen King's defense: in several of his books he makes the following points very clear: 1) there is a good God, and there is a Devil, and they're duking it out in the world, 2) God always wins, though the margin is often slim, 3) Bad things do happen to good people, and sometimes the subsequent good effect is seen and sometimes it isn't, 4) God's work is usually carried out on earth by people (as opposed to by miraculous signs and angels, or whatever). I had always dismissed Stephen King as a writer of cheap junk until I actually read one or two of his books, and was surprised by the basic morality of his worldview.

A pretty accurate web test for Meyers Brigg! I took the long version once when we were small group leaders in our church and got the same result as I just got on the web test. ISFJ. 78/38/62/67.

I love Celtic names, but with our last name (Spanish), it's not a good mix.

Some questions...

* What was the last thing you ate

* Where was the last place you went out

* What kind of shoes are you wearing

* Do you pray the rosary every day?

* What prayers do you say daily?

* Do you and Micheal pray together?

* How old is your youngest sibling

Congrats on the new job! You certainly sneaked that bit of info in :-)

Yes, congratulations on the new job! Despite my petite rant in my answers to your interview questions, there are a lot of fun and fascinating things about working in a law office.

I hope your celebration dinner was yummy.

I love it that you're an INFJ! Me too! I really like knowing what people's types are b/c it helps me know where they're coming from and how I might relate best to them. Congrats on the new job...sounds like fun! (P.S. If you want to know more about what the types mean, check out this link:
