i grew up near hershey, pa, and you have virtually no accent to me. fun! :)

Cute cute. I definitely hear the Michigan in "car," but otherwise it's pretty mild. (My husband's family is from the Rogers City and Traverse City areas. Their accents are STRONG.)

Ha, I just did this too, moments before I saw yours. I also have a toddler on my lap and I cut off way more of my own face than you did.

I'm from Minnesota and your pronunciation is pretty similar to mine -- with the exception of caramel :) But I've lived in Canada my whole adult life and it has definitely affected my accent. My daughter's confused on some words -- my husband moved to Canada from England when he was 11 and his mother is Italian. His accent is definitely his own. He tries to get the girls to say tom-ahh-to. So far I'm winning that one :) But I caught my daughter saying pasta with a short a the other day so my influence only goes so far.

Darn tootin you grew up in Porch Yearn!

And I hear NO accent. Of course, now that I live in Savannah, people tell me I sound strange. :)

I'm from Ontario and I don't think you have much of an accent but I did hear it when you said coupon. I don't know if anyone has told you yet what it's called when it rains while it's sunny but here we call it a sun shower.

Love your accent. Very northern, but not quite Fargo. Almost eastern.

I'm from Illinois and tried hard but didn't really hear an accent. I do say caramel different than you, and for some reason I say gym shoes not tennis shoes. Interesting idea though the accent vlog. I have not seen others but I think it would be fun to view some others.

I love it! This is my new favorite thing on the internet. I love how Camilla is all up in the camera's face and you're like, "Whatever, Camilla." This is SO CLAIRE.

I've always thought you have a very criso way of saying things. Does that make any sense? Not uppity, but definitely...proper. Without any snootiness.

Miss you, friend!

I live in southwestern Pennsylvania and you definitely sound like a Pennsylvanian!!

I can't WAIT to do mine! And it will be while my children are asleep ... because I do NOT have it together enough to get through taping myself while my kids distract me. You are superwoman!!

I hardly heard any accent at all. Maybe a few words here and there? I DID notice how your girlie said "Yes, mama!" when you asked her to do something and how well you kept your cool with a lot of distractions going on. You definitely multi-task very well, and thank God for that, right?!

Mostly I just really enjoyed hearing and seeing you "Live". Made me wish I could meet you in person.

You don't have much of an accent to me. But seeing you on a video did make me think you should be on tv or in movies! You've just got this something about you - I mean you're gorgeous and all but that isn't it exactly - you've got presence. :)

I don't think I can hear an accent at all, but I guess that's probably because I'm from Michigan too. But wow, I had no idea that see-rup and pellow and melk were Michigan things!

I only noticed a few differences -- from Minnesota here.

You know I adore your accent. So cute.

(I think I might say see-rup. I'll have to go back and look at my vlog. Now, of course, I'm thinking about it too much to know how I normally say it!)

So apparently (according to all these vlogs) I say carmel wrong.

You AND your kids are adorable. I'm with you, su-rup is CORRECT. See-rup is just weird.

The one word I giggled over was "theater." Thee-ter. Hee hee. You're cute.

...and then when I recorded mine, I actually said, "SEE-rup." I have two opinions, evidently. ?!

I am from NJ but live in IN and I have nothing but love and admiration for your mother for enforcing the right pronunciation of Harry.
