Isn't that heartbeat the weirdest and most beautiful thing you ever saw?

YAY! Thanks for the update.

Yay! Thank you for the update! I am so, so happy for you!

Oh, what wonderful news. Sleep well.

Oh, thank you, thank you, and bless you, bless you, bless you! You don't post for a minute or three, I start to worry. But I am so thrilled for your wonderful news! Now, get some rest!

That is wonderful Arwen!!! I think the whole internet will rest better tonight knowing your little bean is safe and sound.

Hooray! Congrats! You can rest peacefully now.

I was right where you are now just a little over a year ago. This time next year you'll have a turtlebaby of your very own, I just know it.

God Bless--all our love and prayers

That's great! (Well, except for the morning sickness part--but morning sickness is by definition awful, and there isn't really all that much you can do about it.)

Glorious happy news. So full of joy for you!

Praise God.

Yay for twitchy baby-beans!

Hooray! Wonderful news!

arwen! what fabulous news! best thing i have heard all day. woo-hoo!

Best. News. Ever.

Good luck, little bean.

(Mom/Grandma happy dance)* 2 !!!
Yay God. Love you ALL!!!!

So glad to read this update! (I've been lurking around all day to see when you would post!)

Hi Arwen. I have to admit, I quit reading your blog a while back. I have one son who is 6, but have been trying for another for over 5 years and have only 4 miscarriages to show for it. I am having a very hard time with faith. I am not nearly as graceful as you. I am bitter. I quit reading because I just couldn't keep up with you. I got tired of trying to think positive and see the good, you know? I saw your comment over at Julia's. I am sincerely so happy for you. You have inspired me to try again. To believe that there really is something to be learned from all of this. To believe that I will truly understand and be grateful that I went through it. I am going to try. Good luck to you and many blessings. It is going to be so fun for you to go through this with Rosie. I'll be checking in.

I stop obsessively checking for a few hours, and WOW! So glad for you!
Keep a nice big glass of Icy water next to the bucket and *try* to keep hydrated!

Great news! And I think I can't stop checking back in for updates every hour or so for a least a couple days now.

Hooray. That is GREAT news. I had bleeding with my second pregnancy (1st was an early miscarriage) and I was in major panic mode, like you were. Turned out they said my placenta pulled away from the uterus a little and then formed a little cyst and then as it healed itself, I had the spotting. It totally cleared up and I had a beautiful healthy baby girl.
You are well on your way with this great news today. :-)

oh arwen that ROCKS!

So happy for you!! "Glorious" is the perfect word for the heartbeat...every baby is a miracle, but this one is extra-special. Hope you're enjoying your peaceful nap. :)

yes yes yes!!!!!

*does a happy dance*

So excited for you!!

So glad! Yay! (and thanks for updating so quickly so we didn't worry!) Now go take care of yourself and the little bean. :)

Wonderful news!

Coming out of lurkdon to say how happy I am for you at this wonderful news.

Yay for the good news!! Very glad for you.

Congratulations on your good news!
From a lurker.

Absolutely beautiful. God is amazing. Take care of yourself.

Still praying,

I'm so happy for you, little mama!!!!

Lots of ladies say that SeaBands acupressure bracelets helped with nausea. I never had to resort to it, but thought I would toss it out there anyway. Here's hoping your comfort increases (((soon))).

Wonderful news. Congratulations!

just the news i checked your site to hear!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Oh, I'm so relieved for you! Thank goodness!

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

Awesome news Arwen!! The prayers worked. Rest up and take it easy momma.

Pray for me too okay? I have the egg retrieval tomorrow. So nervous. :)

Wonderful wonderful!

Oh, thank goodness. Continues blessings for your family. *hugs*

What wonderful news! Enjoy your rest.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Congratulations on the great news.

A little Shakespeare for you: "O wonderful, wonderful, and most wonderful wonderful! and yet again wonderful, and after that, out of all whooping!" (it's from As You Like It)

I've never been entirely clear on what that whooping bit is supposed to mean, but OH HOW GLORIOUS for your little belly-dweller!

Yay! Yay yay yay yay yay!!!!!!

Hurray, little lava bean, and God bless.
All will be well, and all will be well, and all manner of things will be well.

Um, okay, I'm a total dork, but I don't suppose your sibs refer to their neicephews as types of lava because they are blessing flowing from God? Someone made a reference to that phrase and I thought, hmm, that would make a creative and fascinating sort of sense.
(Neicephew, btw, is what my sister and I called our brother and sister-in-law's baby in utero, since we didn't know until birth what gender she was. Probably speaks for itself and is much less cool that A'a and Pahoehoe, but there you are.)

A glorious sight indeed. AMEN!!

Soooo sorry that you're feeling so sick, my friend. No matter how thankful you are to be pg, it is HARD to feel that poorly. Hang in there. And enjoy your rest! =)

So happy for you.

whew. I'm glad everything is OK! I hope you start feeling better soon.

YAY! So glad to hear the news!

I'm so glad. I'm just so glad. I'm still praying hard, but now there's even greater cause to rejoice! I love you so much and I am so happy for you. Praise God!(And oh, by the way, I'm going to start using the word "niecephew" ALL the time now. Everyone at school will probably get so sick of it that they'll threaten to stone me or something. But I don't care, because I have two beautiful little niecephews on the way! Hooray!)

I'm so glad everything went ok, I tought of you constantly yesterday. Prayers are coming your way :)

Great news!! Chris and I are glad to hear you're doing so well. maybe we'll see you this weekend!

Congratulations on such wonderful news!

Glorious, indeed!!!

As someone who had terrible fatigue during my pregnancy all I have to say is enjoy that nap! :)

Praise be! :-) :-)

In other happy news, our firstborn is here: a girl, named Eve, born on Sunday in the mid-morning and weighing in at a little over 9 lbs. I'm back home with her now and we're both doing dandy - the birth was uneventful and about as "easy" as one could reasonably expect. Thank you, Lord!

Praise God...and see, you were right on target.."Miracles could conceivably happen, Right" well, yes mam, they do.
I hope your all day sickness lets up very soon. It truly is the worst sickness in the ENTIRE world, but hopefully it will be short lived. I pray for a very safe pregnancy for you and your baby.

Well, I don't check blogs for a while and see what I find. YOU'RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations, Arwen, I couldn't be happier for you!

Wahoo! Such great news.

I will sleep comfortably tonight. Such goodness to come!

Don't you know it is your job to post more often in order to give me an acceptable diversion from my thesis?

Congratulations from a new reader!!! Have a great sleep.

I am so happy that you got good news and that you can relax a little. Looking forward to updates!

Happy, happy, joy, joy!

Morning sickenss is normal, but if you are unable to keep anything down for 24 hours or longer, you need to see a doctor. I'm sure you're fine, but every pregnant woman should hear this advice.

I sincerely pray you are just morning sick, and things will settle down in a few weeks. :-)

How did the rest of your week go? Hope you're feeling o.k., or at least handling things alright. Thinking of you all the time ...

So glad for this news!

I found you through JenEx's blog and have been lurking for a bit, and am very happy to hear that the little bean is ok. Yay!

Congratulations! Best wishes!

I hope everything's okay, and you haven't posted because you're just too tired?
God bless.

delurking to say congrats, and that I hope everything is ok since you haven't posted in awhile....

Please post! I miss you!

Hey there! Praying for you and thinking of you ... please let us know you're doing o.k. as soon as you can.

I'm getting worried. Please post as soon as you can.
